then went to watch Zohan @ causeway point
when  the show was about the start.. another couple came to sit beside us..  when the guy was about the sit down AL suddenly laughed out, we realised yuan lai they are my sis and her bf. LOL SOOOO QIAO!!! the whole cinema is so big  but they had actually chose to sit beside us unknowingly!!!

anyway it was a funny and lame show if you just want to have a good laugh..not much content lah.

Joined AL's family for zi cha dinner at a kopitiam near lakeside mrt station.. v delicious , hard to belive that we can actuallly find such tasty sharks fin soup at a normal looking kopitiam.. we are planning to go back there for fish head steamboat next week. hehe

    (bottom) CK's kopi,  YF's kopi-o kosong, WM's teh-o kosong

LOL. it's funny that each of us in my lunch gang like different flavours of teh and kopi
We always have a hard time telling giving order to the cashier, and the cashier had a hard time passing the order down to the person making drinks!
And ended up we have to repeat the order to the drink maker. HAHAHA

Incase u r a non-singaporean reading this, here's the common glossary term to use when ordering coffee/tea from the local kopitiams.

    TEA
Teh    : tea with condense milk
Teh-O: O means black/dark in hokkien. so Teh-o here means Tea without milk, with sugar
Teh-O kosong: I think kosong means nothing or zero in malay? so Teh-o konsong means tea without milk, without sugar.
Teh-O siew dai: I think siew dai means less sugar or little sugar in Cantonese. So this is tea without milk and less sugar.
Teh-C:  Locals take the 'C' from Carnation evaporated milk. It is less sweet than condensed milk. So Teh-C means tea with Carnation milk and sugar
Teh-C kosong: Tea with carnation milk and no sugar.
Teh-C siew dai: Tea with carnation milk, less sugar
Teh-Peng: Peng means ice / cold in hokkien. so this means Ice tea with condense milk.

    COFFEE
Kopi: Hokkien way of pronoucing coffee
Kopi-Gao: Coffee thick. (Gao means thick in hokkien)

So by now you should know what below listed means??
    Kopi-O:
    Kopi-O kosong:
    Kopi-O siew dai:
    Kopi-C:
    Kopi-C siew dai:

    Kopi-Peng:

    COFFEE & TEA
yuan yang (or ying yong in cantonese): literally means a pair of lover ducks. yuan yang means mixture of teh and coffee

    OTHERS
Here's some terms which are not use as common nowadays.

Dio-hee: Dio-hee means fishing in hokkien literally. in this case it means lipton tea.  (when u make tea using lipton tea packets, it looks like fishing)

    tea

Tat kiew: literally means kicking football in hokkien. see below picture and u will know which drink it is.
    milocan
